Handgun 101

Whether you are afraid of guns or brand new to mechanics and handling, this introductory session is for you.  A combination of classroom and hands on learning, we discuss safety, basic handling/operation, and shooting in a safe and fun environment.  Nothing combats fear like knowledge and experience.  Here we provide both. 

This class is for kids and adults of all ages.  We ask anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by a parent/guardian. 

If you or your loved ones are new to guns or are easily intimated by them, this class is the best place to start.  We will cover basic shooting principles on a variety of handguns and a few long guns in order to give you and understanding of firearms operating principles as well as to simply have a good time. All shooting is outside, so please dress appropriately.

Prerequisites: None

Physical Fitness Level Required: Standing for long portions of time.  We can work around any preexisting injuries.
